The Hopping 4 A Cure Executive Board is an elite squad of the most talented individuals representing their university, who happen to take Recess and helping those affected by Multiple Sclerosis very seriously.

These student leaders are at the center of the Hopping 4 A Cure organization. Responsible for leading all events/activities, creating strong community, and recruiting all-star members/volunteers to raise awareness and support for Multiple Sclerosis in your college/university.

Executive Board members will combine their passion for sports, science, and/or the arts with community service to bring new energy to Multiple Sclerosis fundraising & recruiting.

Community Organizer

Hopping 4 A Cure Organizers are a group of badass ninjas who happen to take Recess and helping those affected by Multiple Sclerosis very seriously.

Organizing is a truly rewarding experience that will help build your network, while helping those in your community.

A typical Hopping 4 A Cure event takes 3 to 4 months to organize, and you’ll need 4 to 6 people on your organizing team (this is not something you can do alone). Your team will be responsible for nearly all aspects of the event, including:

- Raising event sponsorship to cover event costs

- Securing a venue

- Promoting the event & recruiting attendees

- Ordering food, drink, and supplies for the event

Your team should consist of 4 to 6 people. Just like a startup, forming a strong organizing team is the most important part of planning a Hopping 4 A Cure event. It is also very much like choosing a Board of Directors: it’s important that everyone on the team is as enthusiastic about the mission of Hopping 4 A Cure as you are (regardless of his or her personal goals).

Internship

Hopping 4 A Cure Interns are an elite squad of the most ambitious individuals, who happen to take Recess and helping those affected by Multiple Sclerosis very seriously.

These student leaders will be responsible for raising awareness and support for Multiple Sclerosis in your local communities & across the US through the growth of the organization. Interns can combine their passion for sports, science, and/or the arts with community service to bring new energy to Multiple Sclerosis fundraising & recruiting. Roles & responsibilities may include:

1. Manage the growth of your selected region of the US, introducing new chapters into the Hopping 4 A Cure family

2. Lead marketing and outreach efforts across your region, managing relationships with key stakeholders and influencers who are interested in starting a chapter hosting an event in their community

3. Nurture those contacts and manage their growth in the organization

4. Raise funds to support those affected by MS (if there's an event or fundraiser you decide to lead)

This is real, functional experience that will translate into real world knowledge.

No getting coffee. No dress code. No busywork. All Recess.

Volunteer
